EXCLUSIVE: Donald Trump MAGA fans gathered in a West London boozer to raise a glass to their hero after the landlord renamed the pub the Trump Arms and opened a wing dedicated to assassination victim Charlie Kirk

As thousands took to London's streets to protest Donald Trump being hosted by the Royal family yesterday, one pub served as a refuge for Britain's MAGA-mad few. Landlord Damien Smyth, 60, changed the West London boozer's name from Biddy Mulligans to the Trump Arms for the Don's second state visit.

Regulars sung the US President's praises for "making the world safer", putting his life on the line to serve his country and speaking his mind. One punter even called for Trump to take on the job as UK PM on top of his current duties after confessing to falling in love with Trump "at first sight".

Speaking to the Daily Star, Mr Smyth explained why he changed his pub's name. The proud Irishman said: "We are all solid Trump supporting people and we believe he is the only man who has the vision and the direction at this time.

"We see in the UK, Ireland and Europe – they have lost it. They are not tuned in and they are not our people anymore. Trump seems to be the only man with a direction for protecting and looking after his country and building a proper society."

The pub, where a pint of Guinness costs £6.50, serves as a venue for the "community" of Trump supporters across the UK – with some travelling from Leeds to be there. The Landlord added: "All the fellas that come in here, they are hard working men. They are out in the morning busting their ass trying to make a few pounds. They are all proper fellas and intelligent."

Mick Brennan was one such punter who confessed his love for Trump and called for him to take on the job of UK Prime Minister. He said: "What he means he says, he doesn't bulls*** people.

"If there was a way we could have him as the President of the United States and Prime Minister of England at the same time, that's what they should do." Mick's demand for Trump to take over Downing Street was met with calls of support from other regulars.

In response to criticisms of Trump being a fascist, Mick said: "Well they are going to say something about everyone. Look at what the Democrats tried to do, 39 charges and not one stuck against him – not one."

When asked how long he had been supporting Trump, Mick said: "Since I first seen him." He affirmed it was "love at first sight".

Mr Brennan added: "It is a pity he is only in for one more term, he should get another term after that. Another four years afterwards, he would sort things out then." Mick did stop short of calling for "unlimited terms".

The landlord was appalled by the assassination of Charlie Kirk last week and decided to honour his memory by naming a room in the boozer after the slain right wing commentator. He said: "This terrible tragedy of Charlie Kirk has really shocked the world and shocked everybody.

"He was a highly intelligent young fella who can debate with a beautiful young family. And because he had a different opinion and put his side across, they take him out. That's disgraceful."

Mr Sullivan added: "He stood for peaceful debate and the Charlie Kirk room is designed to honour that."
